Journey backwards, not a return to the same

This installation presents Tudić’s visual exploration of wholeness and perception through carefully arranged artworks that visitors physically navigate. As viewers move through the space, they encounter the tension between individual experience and broader truths, challenging conventional ideas about what we can know with certainty.

This contemporary artwork connects Eastern concepts like Nirvana with Western philosophical traditions, creating an environment where visitors question how sensory experience shapes our understanding of existence. The deliberate placement of artworks throughout the art gallery highlights the contrast between fragmented perceptions and our search for completeness.

About This Artwork

The “Journey” installation examines self-understanding through our connections to others alongside our struggle to grasp unity. Tudić contrasts the certainty of personal existence with ongoing growth and change, revealing how competition exposes the limits of our comprehension. Drawing inspiration from rugby, he suggests that meaningful development comes through challenge rather than destruction, guiding visitors beyond binary thinking toward more comprehensive perspectives.
